What's New In fsLock:
Below is a list of changes that have been made within each new version that has been released.  This information is also available within the installer, so you are always aware of which version you are installing.
v2.0:
~ Updated all menu icons to new 24 bit, Windows Vista style designs.
~ All list images now use new 24 bit images, replacing the standard flat images used before (much nicer).
~ Added to the ability to start the 'Secure Files', 'Program Security' and 'Monitoring' engines on file dropping.
~ All sections now have their own specific icons assigned to them.
~ Lots of small tweaks.

v2.0 - RC2:
~ Enabled directory dropping for 'Secure' and 'Delete' files (adds all files from directory).
~ Pressing 'Escape' on the main window minimizes it to the system tray (when on).
~ In 'Delete Files', 'Encrypt & Delete' option will now change the filename as well (more secure).
~ Fixed a couple of spelling mistakes for the 'Menu Hover' text.
~ Fixed a bug that caused the program to close on engine start (when system tray support is disabled).
~ Fixed a fault that caused the program to close when the 'Secure Files ' list was not saved (on exit).
~ Confirmation is now shown when the window is minimized to the system tray (on start-up or by force).
~ Lots of fixes here and there.

v2.0 - RC1:
~ Fixed a tabbing fault in the 'Add Program' window.
~ Fixed a couple of spelling mistakes in the wndExit() function.
~ Updated the status messages shown when engines are started (makes more sense).
~ Fixed a fault that caused error messages to be shown on start-up when not required.
~ Fixed a fault that caused error messages to be shown on closing when not required.
~ Fixed a fault that caused a couple of colour faults in the 'Add Program' window.
~ Fixed a massive bug that caused the program to close on protecting (system tray support off).
~ Fixed a fault that caused the search bar to be enabled for the 'Monitoring' section at all times.
~ The search bar now completely supports the 'Monitoring' section.
~ Fixed a couple of website/email loading problems. Have been re-written and should be faster.
~ All 'No Entries' panels on the main window are now more correctly aligned and better laid out.
~ You can now disable event logging directly from the 'Logs' section on the main window.
~ Fixed a fault that caused the 'No Logs' part of the monitoring section to not be correctly centred.
~ Lots of small fixes and improvements.

v2.0 - Beta 5:
~ Added direct access to the new fsLock website via the 'About' window and 'Help' menu.
~ Slightly updated the registration window to have access to the new purchase system (stand by!).
~ The 'Program Security' context menu item 'Add Program' no longer has a shortcut or image.
~ After removing dead or duplicate files, the top item in the list(s) is now re-selected by default.
~ MAJOR: Brand new section called 'Monitoring' that monitor’s file activity in specific directories.
~ All engines now have their own specific start-up settings (better customization for advanced users).
~ Fixed a fault that caused the menu item 'New' to remain disabled after stopping specific engines.
~ Lists are no longer disabled when engines are started (only adding tools remain disabled).
~ Fixed a couple of status message and logging faults when securing empty files.
~ The 'Program Security' section now supports full logging.
~ Menu items 'New' and 'Save As' are only enabled when text is available.
~ Fixed a fault that stopped the program remembering if the window was maximized when re-loading.
~ Fixed a fault that allowed the main fsLock executable to be added to the 'Program Security' list.
~ Fixed a massive fault that caused the progress bar not to show the correct value in several functions.
~ All engines will only continue to run when items have been started (blocking, locking, monitoring, etc).
~ Added support to transfer file locations from 'Secure Files' to the 'Monitoring' list.
~ Fixed a Directory_GetPath() fault that sometimes returned an incorrect value (tiredness!).
~ Slight update to the 'About' window (better blending with the rest of the program now).
~ Fixed a few faults that allowed certain menus items to be enabled when an incorrect area is focused.
~ Ensured that nothing is selected when any of the engines are started.
~ Fixed a couple of faults that caused buttons to not show up in the correct style.
~ Added Drag & Drop support to the 'Program Security' section (for EXE and DLL files only).
~ When logs are not available, a new displayer is shown indicating that no event logs have been made.
~ You can now turn off Window Position saving via the 'Options' window (on by default).
~ Section tabs on the main window now show tooltips to help you understand each section better.
~ You can now turn off tooltip support on the main window via the 'Options' window (on by default).
~ Slight updates to the 'Options' window (creating more space, better organizing, labeling, etc).
~ You can now turn off Time Stamping in the Logs on start-up via the 'Options' window (on by default).
~ You can now turn off logging support via the 'Options' window (will speed fsLock up on slower systems).
~ Fixed a fault that shows incorrect corner images on the side panel (again, tiredness!).
~ Lots of fixes and small changes here and there.

v2.0 - Beta 4:
~ All directory accessing and controlling codes has been completely re-written from the ground up.
~ All file accessing and controlling codes have also been re-written.
~ Fixed a massive fault that caused Recent File/List menu items to be displayed incorrectly.
~ Massively improved directory scanning when searching for files.
~ MAJOR: All settings are now stored in 'settings.xml' (all previous settings will not work).
~ When the 'Secure Files' engine is running, the status bar shows the number of files locked.
~ MAJOR: List saving and opening now uses true XML (all old list files will have to re-created).
~ You can now set how many 'Recent Files' and 'Recent Lists' to remember in the 'Options' window.
~ You can now set fsLock to remember its logs within each use (check the 'Options').
~ You can now turn off system tray support via the 'Options' window.
~ You can now do complete recursive scans on directories you add (off by default in the 'Options').
~ Small changes here and there and general code improvements.

v2.0 - Beta 3:
~ Added extra protection that will prevent lock and encrypted files being deleted.
~ Fixed a fault that allowed Folders to be dragged onto the lists.
~ Made sure that files without an extension cannot be added to the list.
~ Slight GUI modification to make sure the links fitted correctly.
~ Added a setting that will allow you turn off locking for empty files.
~ If a file is locked by another program, it will not be added to the secure or delete list.
~ Before locking or deleting, the engines now check the files to see if they are locked already.
~ Switched encryption method so that it uses direct class functions (less space, faster).
~ When copying files from 'Secure List' to 'Delete List', confirmation is asked to remove the files.
~ Fixed a fault that caused the process blocking engine to return the incorrect extension.
~ Other small code improvements and fixes.

v2.0 - Beta 2:
~ Added 'Encrypt' support to 'Secure Files' (encrypts files before locking them, extra protection).
~ Changed the 'Add Program' window to that’s it easier to understand and use.
~ Fixed a massive fault that caused a File Encryption error when deleting files.
~ Fixed some resizing faults that cause the main window to crash.
~ Section selectors on the main window now use the whole selector (instead of just the link).
~ Fixed a fault that caused links to still be active and available when its section is currently open.
~ All process killing threads now work as background threads.
~ When a list is opened from 'Recent Lists', it’s now remembered as the last list used.
~ The 'File Information' panel now automatically resizes when sections are shown or hidden.
~ Fixed some spelling mistakes with menu text that is shown when hovered.
~ Fixed a fault that caused some of the menu items (mainly new ones) to not show their menu text.
~ All windows now remember their individual settings that are set.
~ All version information is now stored in the 'settings.ini' file.
~ Fixed a fault that allowed locked files to be added to the 'Delete Files' list.
~ Fixed a fault that allowed the currently opened list to be added to either list.
~ Fixed a fault that allowed the INI setting file to be added to either list.
~ Fixed the same faults list above with the 'Add Directory' menu item.
~ Fixed similar faults caused in the Drag & Drop methods for 'Secure Files' and 'Delete Files'.
~ Fixed similar faults caused when adding recent files to either list.
~ You can now drag files onto the 'Secure Files' and 'Delete Files' blank panel displayers.
~ Fixed a small fault that caused the sections corner not to be shown correctly.
~ Fixed some small tooltip problems where they weren’t shown correctly.
~ Fixed a fault that allowed the same list to be added to the one currently open.
~ If a list is added that contains files already listed, they are now automatically removed.
~ Lots of enhancements, changes, etc.

v2.0 - Beta 1:
~ MAJOR: Brand new default user inter-face.
~ Fixed a fault that sometimes caused the engine to not secure certain files.
~ Fixed an INI reading fault when checking for default values when adding files.
~ MAJOR: Added full password protection system (is remembered and encrypted).
~ MAJOR: Full process protection support (only available for in the Full Edition).
~ When the lists have no files in them, help sections are now shown in the center of the window.
~ Both lists now have multiple select support (when deleting, status changing, etc).
~ Brand new layout for the 'Options' window with new settings (should be easier to use).
~ File encryption support for the 'Delete Files' section (more random, no key implementation).
~ Lots of small enhancements, fixes and changes.

v1.0:

v1.0 - RC1:
~ Fixed a fault that caused the borders of the lists to be single instead of 3D.
~ Fixed a fault that stopped the search section working correctly when searching the logs.
~ Fixed a fault that caused the context menu item "Add List" to stay disabled at all times.
~ Renamed the "GO" button to "Find" (makes more sense).
~ The Start button is now a split button containing extra options when starting the engine.
~ You can only start the "Secure Files" engine when there are files available (no errors).
~ You can now specify via the "Options" window to allow multiple instances.
~ Added support to spawn a new instance from the "Window" menu (overrides settings).
~ Lots of small enhancements.

v1.0 - Beta 3:
~ Added an "Options" window for specifying certain settings for the program.
~ Added default status change to the support (changeable in the "Options" window).
~ You can now reset the "Recent Files" and "Recent Lists" via the "Options" window.
~ You can now turn off the splash screen via the "Options" window.
~ Both lists now show "File" icons for each file added.
~ Fixed a few spelling mistakes here and there.
~ Fixed a lot of menu flickering when menu items are enabled/disabled.
~ Updated the sections which are enabled/disabled when the engine is running.
~ Search entries that are used are now saved within each use.
~ The Search history can be reset using the "Options" window.
~ Exit questions now play default Windows sounds.
~ When large lists are used, status messages are shown for each file locked/wiped.
~ Files that are not successfully locked are now also logged.
~ Files that are not successfully deleted/wiped are now also logged.
~ Fixed a fault that coursed the "Save" message (on exit) to keep showing when turned off.
~ Confirmation is now shown (optional) before files are wiped/deleted.
~ You can now use EXE and DLL files by using bypass settings (off by default in "Options").
~ Remove the settings from the "Window" menu as they are now controlled from the "Options" window.
~ You can now specify how many times are file is securely wiped before being deleted.
~ Lots of fixes and small changes.

v1.0 - Beta 2:
~ When files are locked, they are now checked against the list.
~ When files are unlocked, they are checked for their existence (if unlocked but not closed).
~ Renamed the "Files" tab to "Secure Files".
~ Added "Delete Files" tab to the main window (for deleting files in a secure manor).
~ Added "Secure Delete" menu to list context menu (for moving files to the secure deletion list.
~ The "Save" and "Save" As menus are disabled if nothings in the list.
~ Fixed a fault that stopped windows shutting down while the program is running.
~ Added "Delete Files" and menu and button to the main window (for deleting files in a secure manor).
~ Added a start-up splash screen (for when large lock lists are used and take time to load).
~ Column sizes (for both lists) are now remembered within each use.
~ Brand new "About" screen.
~ When menus/buttons are hovered, small text messages are now shown in the status bar.
~ Added section selector menus into the "View" menu.
~ Fixed a fault that stopped menus acting like proper menus (hover selection, alt selection, etc).
~ The main window now has a minimum size restriction.
~ The main toolbar now has a search field available for searching through the lists and logs.
~ The 'Recent Files' menu can be used when the engine is running (when the lists are enabled).
~ Only the parts of the window that are need for a selected section are enabled when needed.
~ Lots of enhancements and fixes.
